Podcast Virtual Assistant
Position Overview
MeetYourVA is hiring for a reliable and detail-oriented Podcast Virtual Assistant to support the production and publishing of multiple podcasts. This role focuses on podcast publishing, light editing, distribution management, YouTube graphics, and backend organization.
The ideal candidate already understands podcast workflows, can work independently, and is comfortable managing recurring weekly publishing schedules.
Position Details
Current workload is approximately 4 episodes per week across active podcasts, with additional podcast projects expected to be added in the future.
Responsibilities
Add podcast intros and outros to episodes
Perform light audio cleanup and sound optimization
Upload and publish episodes through Buzzsprout
Distribute episodes across:
Apple Podcasts
Spotify
iHeartRadio
Amazon Music
YouTube
Create YouTube cover graphics/thumbnails that match existing branding
Organize and manage raw podcast files and assets
Maintain publishing schedules and episode organization
Support a target publishing cadence of 2 episodes/week per podcast
Assist with backend podcast production workflows as volume scale.
Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience supporting podcast production workflows
Strong working knowledge of Buzzsprout
Familiarity with StreamYard and Zoom
Experience with light podcast/audio editing
Ability to create clean YouTube graphics using existing brand styles
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
Comfortable working independently without heavy supervision

Basecamp (preferred but not required).
