Strategy Consulting Executive Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a highly proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented Executive Assistant to support an independent strategy consultant working in a fast-paced business environment.

This is not a traditional administrative assistant role.

The position is best suited to someone with the mindset and capability of an Analyst or Consultant within a strategy consulting environment - someone who enjoys solving problems, conducting research, synthesizing information, creating polished presentations, and proactively supporting high-level strategic work.

The role will involve working across a wide variety of non-repetitive tasks including research, content development, presentation preparation, proposal support, AI-assisted workflows, and strategic thinking support.

The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, intellectually curious, resourceful, and capable of operating with limited instruction while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and professionalism.

Timezone: Central European Time

Part time, 20 hours per week

Rate: 8 USD per hour

Key Responsibilities

Research & Strategic Support
  • Conduct research across a wide variety of business, market, operational, and strategic topics
  • Distill complex information into concise, actionable insights and summaries
  • Support the development of thought leadership materials and strategic perspectives
  • Critically assess information quality, credibility, and relevance rather than simply compiling findings
  • Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to improve research efficiency and output quality
LinkedIn & Thought Leadership Support
  • Research relevant topics, trends, and market developments
  • Draft and prepare LinkedIn content based on the founder's ideas and strategic viewpoints
  • Support the development of executive-level thought leadership content
  • Help maintain a consistent and professional personal brand presence
Book & Writing Support
  • Assist with research and structure development for an upcoming book project
  • Organize notes, concepts, references, and supporting material
  • Help synthesize ideas into clear written outputs
  • Support editing, formatting, and content refinement processes
Presentation & PowerPoint Development
  • Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations for lectures, workshops, and internal strategic materials
  • Convert rough ideas, notes, and concepts into polished executive-level slides
  • Ensure presentations are visually clean, structured, and professional
  • Support with presentation refinement, formatting consistency, and narrative flow
Proposal & Business Support
  • Assist with the preparation of client proposals and supporting materials
  • Help structure and format documents, summaries, and strategic recommendations
  • Conduct supporting background research where required
  • Organize and maintain working files and knowledge resources
Executive & Operational Support
  • Operate as a trusted strategic support partner to the founder
  • Anticipate needs proactively and independently identify opportunities to improve workflows
  • Manage multiple priorities and parallel workstreams simultaneously
  • Help build structure and leverage within a fast-moving consulting environment
  • Take ownership of tasks and drive them through to completion with minimal oversight

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly proactive with a strong self-starter mentality
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and limited instruction
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (C2 level)
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Ability to work across a wide range of topics and projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and output quality
Preferred
  • Previous experience in:
  • - Strategy consulting
  • Management consulting
  • Executive assistance at a senior level
  • Research-heavy analytical roles
  • Experience supporting senior executives, consultants, or founders
  • Familiarity with business strategy, transformation, or operational improvement work

Important Notes
  • This is not a client-facing role
  • The role will not involve direct participation in active consulting projects due to confidentiality requirements
  • Tasks will vary significantly from week to week - repetition will be minimal
  • Success in this role requires someone who can proactively think, act, and problem solve in alignment with the founder's working style and expectations
