About the role
VALEROS VELASCO BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused CSR/Call Centre Agent to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to be the voice of our company and deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.As a CSR/Call Centre Agent, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by handling inbound and outbound calls, resolving customer inquiries, and providing support that exceeds expectations. This role is fundamental to our customer service operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and retention.
Key responsibilities- Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy and efficiency
- Provide accurate information about products and services to customers, ensuring their questions are thoroughly answered
- Process customer transactions, orders, and requests accurately and in a timely manner
- Document all customer interactions and transactions in the company system for record-keeping and quality assurance purposes
- Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a professional demeanour and use appropriate communication techniques during all customer interactions
- Meet or exceed performance targets including call handling time, customer satisfaction ratings, and sales goals where applicable
- Participate in training and development programmes to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to share best practices and improve overall team performance
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum educational requirement
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally
- Strong active listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs and concerns
- Patience and empathy when handling difficult or frustrated customers
- Proficiency in using computer systems and call centre software
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple calls or requests simultaneously
- Organisational skills and attention to detail in documenting customer interactions
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work scheduled shifts including potential evening or weekend availability
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet and provide effective solutions
- Previous customer service or call centre experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous
