QA Lead to Test Manager (Banking & Financial)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the overall QA strategy and testing processes.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers and testers.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Ensure proper test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Coordinate testing activities with development, product, and business teams.
• Define test scenarios covering different integration points between system components/modules.
• Drive automation testing initiatives where applicable.
• Ensure proper defect management and root cause analysis.
• Manage and document the change, version, and release processes as well as defect management, testing metrics, and test reporting as per the "User Acceptance Test Plan" document.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in software testing / QA.
• At least 5 years experience in leading QA teams.
• Good understanding of SDLC process and Testing Methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, test management, and defect tracking.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Experience using JIRA or similar tools.
