Microsoft Azure Architect (Remote)

OVERVIEW

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure Architect to design,implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud environments. This role is fully remote andwill work closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impactcloud solutions.

Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) Experience withDevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation Exposure to regulated or enterprise environmentsConsulting or customer-facing experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design end-to-end Azure cloud architectures aligned with business and securityrequirements

Lead Azure landing zone design, governance, and best practices

Architect and implement identity, networking, compute, storage, and security services inAzure

Support cloud migrations from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure

Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams

Ensure architectures meet compliance, resiliency, and performance standards

Create and maintain architecture documentation and diagrams

Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on Azure capabilities and roadmap decisions

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience as an Azure Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer

Deep hands-on expertise with core Azure services (compute, networking, storage, identity)

Strong understanding of Azure security architecture and governance

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep)

Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions

Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
