Role Summary
We are looking for an Infrastructure Performance Consultant to diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure-related performance issues for enterprise customers. You will work closely with Support, Professional Services, Product Engineering, and Customer IT teams to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability while providing technical consulting and best-practice recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related performance issues across application servers, databases, networks, authentication, reverse proxies, WAFs, APIs, and load balancers.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend infrastructure and architectural improvements.
- Advise customers on Azure, hybrid environments, high-availability deployments, capacity planning, scaling, authentication, and network optimization.
- Develop proactive consulting services such as Infrastructure Health Checks, Architecture Reviews, and Performance Assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support implementations, reduce risks, and improve customer outcomes.
- Create technical documentation, best practices, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
- 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Enterprise Systems Engineering, Performance Engineering, Technical Consulting, or L3/L4 Support.
- Strong experience with:
- Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
- IIS/Web Servers
- SQL Server performance tuning
- Reverse Proxies, WAFs, Load Balancers, and Authentication Flows
- Networking concepts (DNS, TLS, Routing, CIDR)
- Experience troubleshooting application, infrastructure, and network performance issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with enterprise-scale infrastructure and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with global technical teams on complex performance optimization projects.
- Drive customer success by improving system reliability, scalability, and overall performance.
