About the role

The Marketing Manager – Trade, Events & Communication will be responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing initiatives that drive trade engagement, strengthen brand visibility, and support sales growth. This role focuses on developing trade marketing programs, managing industry events and activations, and ensuring consistent internal and external communication across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Marketing:

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies tailored to distributors, workshops, retailers, and service stations.
  • Plan and implement channel-specific promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, and POSM (point-of-sale materials) for distributors, fleet partners, and retail outlets.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to align trade initiatives with territory goals and distributor performance targets.
  • Monitor and analyze trade promotions and campaign performance to optimize ROI.

Events & Activations:

  • Plan and manage participation in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and customer engagement events.
  • Build partnerships with event organizers, motor associations, and automotive industry stakeholders.

Communication & Branding:

  • Develop and implement a unified communication strategy across trade and consumer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with digital and e-commerce team for the digital marketing
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications, including distributor channels, mechanic outreach, and PR initiatives.
  • Coordinate with agencies and vendors to execute advertising campaigns, both offline and online.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer insights to support marketing strategy.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, campaign impact, and event outcomes.
  • Provide actionable insights to management and sales leadership for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in trade marketing, communication, and events, ideally from FMCG or automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of distributor network dynamics, workshop/channel marketing, and event management.
  • Excellent communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Know how to drive 4-wheel vehicle is a plus but not required
