Job Summary
Clavano Printers is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Operations Head to oversee and optimize daily production operations.
The role requires strong expertise in production planning, manpower utilization, efficiency improvement, and machine maintenance to ensure high-quality output and on-time
delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production scheduling and planning to meet delivery timelines.
- Ensure optimal manpower utilization and deployment.
- Implement line balancing and workflow improvements.
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve productivity.
- Monitor and improve line efficiency and output performance.
- Supervise machine maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate closely with Sales and Pre-Press for job requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and operational procedures.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering (required)
- At least three (3) years experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Experience/exposure in a printing industry is a plus
- Strong knowledge of:
- Production scheduling
- Line balancing
- Time and motion study
- Efficiency measurement
- Machine maintenance systems
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Highly analytical and results-driven
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in printing or similar production industry
- Background in process improvement / lean manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Established and growing printing company
