Housekeeping Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, high-standards Housekeeping Manager to lead our rooms division. You will be responsible for the flawless presentation of our luxury villas, public areas, and the Grand Event Hall. As the leader of the HK department, you will ensure that every guest enters a space that feels brand new, serene, and perfectly aligned with our Bali-inspired luxury branding.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of all guest villas, ensuring they meet Reca’s "Five-Star Clean" standards before every check-in.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of room attendants, public area cleaners, and laundry staff. Create efficient duty rosters and manage labor costs.
Inventory & Asset Management: Manage the inventory of linens, guest amenities, cleaning chemicals, and equipment. Ensure the longevity of villa assets through proper care protocols.
Specialized Maintenance: Oversee the specialized cleaning requirements of our copper-technology pools and high-end villa finishes (stone, wood, and glass).
Quality Inspections: Conduct regular, rigorous "white-glove" inspections of all resort areas, including the Wellness Spa and Grand Event Hall, to ensure zero defects.
Sustainability Initiatives: Implement and monitor eco-friendly cleaning practices and waste management systems in line with our nature-focused retreat philosophy.
Inter-Departmental Synergy: Coordinate closely with the Front Office for room status updates and with Maintenance for any necessary villa repairs.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Housekeeping operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury hotel or high-end resort.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of cleaning chemicals, fabric care, and industrial laundry equipment. Knowledge of pool maintenance is a plus.Eye for Detail: An uncompromising eye for aesthetics, symmetry, and cleanliness.
Leadership Style: A firm but fair leader who can motivate a team under the pressure of quick turnarounds and high occupancy.
Communication: Good command of English and Filipino to effectively communicate with both guests and staff.
Physical Stamina: Ability to navigate the resort grounds and oversee operations in a sprawling, nature-integrated layout.
