You’ll work across departments to analyze business processes, identify opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations that enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business operations, processes, and data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in underwriting, claims, finance, IT, and compliance to gather requirements and define business needs.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear documentation, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Support the implementation of new technologies, systems, or processes through detailed analysis and testing.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs, customer experience metrics, and operational performance.
• Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business goals.
• Stay current with insurance industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform analysis and recommendations.
• Support project management teams with data-driven insights, risk assessments, and scope definitions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Insurance, or related field (Master’s or certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance industry (property & casualty, life, or health)
• Strong understanding of insurance products, policy administration, claims, and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data analysis (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus
