Job description:

Education: Any specialization under the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or
Experience: 2 years working experience related to loan account management
  1. Client Marketing
  • Identifies pool of cooperative members in assigned area of responsibility of each Account Specialist.

  2. Credit Management & Account Monitoring
  • Conducts client call and visitation to verify information provided by the Account Specialist.
  • Evaluates and checks for completeness and authenticity of documents of loan applicants.
  • Performs assessment of completeness of data, signatures and documents required.
  • Checks and verifies credit and background investigation reports on cooperative and its Board of Directors, officers and key management personnel.
  • Discuss needs of collateral with Account Specialist and requires appraisal if needed.
  • Evaluates credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
  • Checks credit rating evaluation and all other reports submitted by Account Specialist.
  • Complete loan applications, including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests, and submits to loan manager for endorsement to loan committee.
  • Checks loan approval notice and all other loan documents for signing of all signatories to the loan.
  • Opens the account in the MBWIN system every availement of loan made.
  • Monitors the maintenance of credit folders and proper filing thereof.
  • Follows up all collateral documents necessary and checks the keeping of all security file in the vault.
  • Conducts regular client call and visit to monitor the account performance.
  • Confers with cooperative's contact persons to address any immediate credit concerns.
  • Conducts remedial management to any account that requires it
  • Prepares proposal for remedial action and submits such to loan committees for approval.
  • Prepares the aging and collectibles report and submit to the loan manager every month
  • Conducts daily monitoring of loan payments
  1. Other key functions
  • Supervise Account Analyst &/ Account Specialist's daily activities.
  • Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customers' needs.
