Job Title: HR Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Human Resources Strategy and Planning
  • Lead the development of HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and operational needs.
  • Plan and manage workforce needs to ensure every office and department has the right staffing levels.
  • Advise management on HR matters and ways to improve the organization.
  1. Recruitment and Staffing
  • Manage recruitment and hiring for all roles
  • Ensure effective onboarding and orientation for new employees
  • Build a talent pipeline to meet current and future workforce requirements.
  1. Employee Relations and Engagement
  • Handle employee relations, ensuring fairness and a positive work environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, complaints, and grievances, providing counseling and guidance through established grievance procedures.
  • Promote engagement and initiatives to boost morale and retention
  1. Performance and Talent Management
  • Develop performance management system.
  • Monitor employee performance and identify areas for development and growth.
  • Support succession planning and programs that build skills and prepare future leaders.
  1. Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll Oversight
  • Manage employee pay, benefits, and government-mandated contributions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Review and update compensation policies to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
  1. Training and Development
  • Identify skills gaps and training needs across the organization.
  • Support and implement learning and development programs for employees.
  • Monitor training activities and track employee progress and improvement.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend enhancements to support performance and growth.
  1. HR Policies and Compliance
  • Create and review company policies to ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Stay updated on labor law changes and provide guidance to management.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and data privacy policies.
  1. HR Administration and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR data, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of government reports, including government-mandated benefits such as maternity, sickness, and others.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics, staffing, turnover, and other relevant information for management.
  • Manage HR resources and administrative functions efficiently.
  1. Safety, Security, and Workplace Environment
  • Oversee workplace safety practices for all employees.
  • Support programs and initiatives that promote a safe, secure, and compliant work environment.
  • Monitor workplace incidents, absences, and related issues, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with management to address safety concerns and improve working conditions.
  1. Organizational Development
  • Support company culture and HR programs that drive engagement and productivity.
  • Identify ways to improve workforce efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on people-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in construction supply, logistics, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, payroll processes, and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing diverse teams across different functions and levels.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to design, implement, and improve HR systems, policies, and procedures from the ground up.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively with management and employees at all levels of the organization.
