Government Relations & Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with national and local government regulations.
• Coordinate the processing and renewal of government permits, licenses, and certifications.
• Represent the company in meetings, discussions, and negotiations with government offices.
• Provide guidance to management on regulatory requirements and government policies affecting operations.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding government compliance and regulatory matters.
• Address issues or concerns raised by government agencies and ensure proper resolution.
• Monitor policy changes and regulatory updates that may impact company operations.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to government relations and compliance activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, or corporate affairs is required.
• Strong knowledge of government processes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Experience coordinating with different Local Government Unit is preferred.
• Candidates from both private sector and government backgrounds are acceptable, provided they have the required government agency coordination experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
