The SAP Logistics Coordinator is a central operational role responsible for ensuring the seamless movement of materials through precise data management and coordination. This position acts as a vital link between warehouse operations, purchasing, and Customer Service (CSD) to ensure customer demands are met professionally and on time.
The SAP Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing all material movements within their assigned area. The primary mission is to execute 100% of the INBOUND and OUTBOUND planning provided by CSD or Purchasing while ensuring all logistics procedures are strictly followed and documented in real-time.
This role is an execution-heavy role which centers on operational excellence, prioritizing the 'Right Product, Right Place, Right Time' principle to meet all delivery and material movement targets
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- OUTBOUND and INBOUND Planning Execution
- Complete 100% of the INBOUND and OUTBOUND planning provided by the CSD or Purchasing departments on a daily basis.
- Coordinate and book the necessary trucks to fulfill these scheduled deliveries.
- Monitor the status and physical location of all transfers or deliveries, providing daily updates to the team.
- SAP Data Management, documentation & Integrity
- Serve as the primary record keeper by inputting all logistics information into SAP without delay.
- Execute and post all required SAP transactions throughout the shift to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure all material movements within the assigned area are documented and reflected in the system to support purchasing and CSD needs.
- Weight Verification & Scale Operations
- Directly operate the truck scale for all incoming and outgoing material movements.
- Verify that scale data aligns with logistics procedures and is accurately captured in SAP.
- Service Excellence & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the operational point of contact for the CSD and Purchasing teams, promptly addressing all demands and inquiries.
- Maintain a professional and flawless level of logistics service for all customers.
- Strictly adhere to all established logistics procedures to ensure smooth and efficient site operations.
Qualifications/Requirements
REQUIREMENTS- Minimum 2 years in a logistics and fleet operations
- Proven experience in people management and output based approach
- Feed or agri-industry experience is a strong advantage
