What is the job?
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for supporting the operational and data management functions within the alternative investments team. This includes managing investment-related documents, maintaining transaction data, and ensuring accurate and organized record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
- Download, organize, and rename files.
- Maintain a clean, well-structured document management system to ensure accuracy and easy retrieval.
- Create, circulate, and monitor Letters of Authorization (LOAs).
- Enter and reconcile transaction-level investment data in Excel, maintaining accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and escalate any system errors or data inconsistencies to the client-facing team and/or team lead.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years Data Entry experience
- Familiar with technology, software tools, and applications (Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- High level of accuracy in handling data, documents, and record-keeping tasks.
- Ability to consistently checks work for errors and maintain data accuracy.
- Familiar with handling sensitive and confidential information in a professional and secure manner.
