Job Purpose:

The Site Nurse is responsible for providing on-site medical care, promoting occupational health, ensuring compliance with DOLE and DOH health standards, and supporting the overall health and safety of workers at energy construction sites including substations, solar farms, and transmission line projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid treatment and emergency care for injuries or health issues occurring within the construction site.
• Conduct daily health monitoring of workers, including temperature checks, blood pressure, and vital signs assessments.
• Monitor and implement health-related protocols including COVID-19 safety measures, sanitation compliance, and disease prevention.
• Maintain and manage the site clinic, first aid kits, and medical supplies inventory.
• Record and report incidents, illnesses, and injuries accurately using DOLE-prescribed formats.
• Coordinate with HSE Officers to ensure prompt response to any health-related incidents and assist in accident investigations.
• Ensure that the site complies with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and medical protocols mandated by the DOLE, DOH, and other regulatory agencies.
• Participate in Health and Safety Toolbox Meetings and awareness campaigns for workers on topics such as heat stroke prevention, hygiene, and proper nutrition.
• Act as the health advocate on-site, promoting wellness, preventive care, and healthy practices among workers.
• Assist in emergency evacuation procedures and act as first responder during critical incidents.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse in the Philippines (Registered Nurse - RN)
• Valid Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH for Nurses) certification (DOLE-accredited)
• With at least 1–2 years of experience as a nurse in a construction, industrial, or power plant setting
• Knowledge in first aid, emergency response, and occupational health protocols
• Familiarity with DOLE-OSHC, OSHS, and DOH health requirements for workplaces
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with multicultural workforces
• Willing to be assigned to remote or provincial project sites on a rotation or full-time basis
