Job Description:- Develops and reviews technical improvement programs for the department. Oversee implementation of such programs.
- Directs section heads and supervisors assigned in the area.
- Identifies items for improvement, sets targets for the department, cascades them to the department members.
- Directs the sections activities and ensuring acceptable level of performance making sure that specific work schedules and objectives are met.
- Prepares and submits required reports.
- Develops and reviews improvement programs for the section. Sets targets and cascades them to all members of the section.
- Support and resolve concerns between TDK Yawata and TDK Philippines.
- Coordinates, develops and maintains internal/external partnership with other section/TDK branch to facilitate and support R & D technical process requirements.
- Recommends / implements cost saving program of the section.
- Possess Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field of study having wide scope of industry knowledge to oversee a variety of activities
- Excellent analytical skills for evaluating information and solving complex problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in foreign language such as Nihongo would be an advantage
- Advanced mathematical skills for developing new processes and products
