About the role
We are seeking a Sales Engineer (Solar & Energy) / Solar Product Seller to join COMMSEC INC. in Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This role represents a strategic opportunity to drive the adoption of innovative solar and energy solutions in the market.As a Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and our customers' business needs, playing a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and revenue growth within the renewable energy sector. You will work in-office in Metro Manila, combining technical expertise with consultative selling to deliver value-driven solutions to our clients.
Key responsibilities- Identify and assess customer energy requirements, providing tailored solar and energy solutions that align with their operational and financial objectives
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, explaining complex solar and energy technologies in accessible and compelling ways
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies for solar and energy projects
- Collaborate with the engineering and project delivery teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into project specifications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle and beyond
- Support the sales team in responding to technical queries, tender specifications, and requests for proposal (RFP)
- Stay current with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and competitive offerings in the solar and renewable energy market
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing materials that highlight our technical advantages
- Provide post-sale technical support and coordinate with project teams to ensure successful implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 1–3 years' experience in solar energy, renewable energy, or electrical engineering sales environments
- Strong technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, energy storage solutions, inverters, and related electrical components
- Proven track record of successfully closing technical sales deals and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of energy regulations, grid interconnection standards, and incentive programmes relevant to the Philippine market
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to business
- Willingness to travel within the Metro Manila region and beyond when required
- With driver's license.
- Must own or be able to drive a motorcycle or a car.
