About the role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer (Solar & Energy) / Solar Product Seller to join COMMSEC INC. in Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This role represents a strategic opportunity to drive the adoption of innovative solar and energy solutions in the market.

As a Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and our customers' business needs, playing a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and revenue growth within the renewable energy sector. You will work in-office in Metro Manila, combining technical expertise with consultative selling to deliver value-driven solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities
  1. Identify and assess customer energy requirements, providing tailored solar and energy solutions that align with their operational and financial objectives
  2. Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, explaining complex solar and energy technologies in accessible and compelling ways
  3. Prepare detailed technical proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies for solar and energy projects
  4. Collaborate with the engineering and project delivery teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into project specifications
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle and beyond
  6. Support the sales team in responding to technical queries, tender specifications, and requests for proposal (RFP)
  7. Stay current with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and competitive offerings in the solar and renewable energy market
  8. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing materials that highlight our technical advantages
  9. Provide post-sale technical support and coordinate with project teams to ensure successful implementation
What we're looking for
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a closely related field
  2. Minimum of 1–3 years' experience in solar energy, renewable energy, or electrical engineering sales environments
  3. Strong technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, energy storage solutions, inverters, and related electrical components
  4. Proven track record of successfully closing technical sales deals and exceeding sales targets
  5. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  6. Understanding of energy regulations, grid interconnection standards, and incentive programmes relevant to the Philippine market
  7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to business
  8. Willingness to travel within the Metro Manila region and beyond when required
  9. With driver's license.
  10. Must own or be able to drive a motorcycle or a car.
