About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Tech Support professional to join our team at Asticom Technology Inc'. As an IT Tech Support, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and effective technical support to our clients. This is a contract position based in Quezon City Metro Manila.
Qualifications- Graduate of IT, Computer Science, or any related technical course
- With experience in IT support, network setup, or hardware configuration (preferred)
- Knowledgeable in networking, system setup, and troubleshooting
- Familiar with Office 365 and basic IT infrastructure
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willing to be deployed in Gateway, Quezon City
Key Responsibilities
Network & Systems Setup- Verify SSID availability for guest and employee networks across store locations
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure proper network setup, coverage, and performance
- Conduct Wi-Fi testing (signal strength, speed, and performance under load)
- Ensure proper rack cabinet setup, cable management, labeling, and documentation
- Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and domain access
- Install and configure printers, ensuring full functionality (including barcode printing and scanning)
- Configure Office 365 and business applications (Outlook, Teams, Chrome, etc.)
- Coordinate CCTV installation and calibration to eliminate blind spots
- Validate 24/7 recording, motion detection, and system stability
- Conduct full testing of IT systems including payment terminals and device integrations
- Set up biometric systems and verify accuracy of user registration
- Ensure all delivered hardware matches approved specifications and report discrepancies
- Work closely with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders for issue resolution
- Provide technical support during deployment and setup phases
