ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Department: FinanceReporting to: Finance and Accounting Assistant Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle all functions related to the assessment of all college students’ fees due to iACADEMY in relation to their studies.
- Prepares the annual schedule of fees required by all college programs and levels as well as uploading the necessary fees to the Pinnacle Enrollment System.
- In the event of tuition fee increases, handles the preparation of an adjusted schedule of fees for submission to CHED.
- Maintain, review, and monitor scholarship and discounts granted to students and prepare a monthly schedule for submission to the Finance Manager
- Issuance of statement of account (SOA) to students under installment, with promissory note, and to those with arrears.
- Assists students, parents, employees, and prospective clients by answering inquiries related to:
- Tuition, school fees, and other charges
- Enrollment and withdrawal procedures
- Check and verify students payables and deficiencies for clearance purposes
- Confirmation of mode of payment and the actual payment made
- Makes representations with parents and/or guardians of students who have unsettled accounts and/or financial problems.
- Handles the preparation of request for payment form for those students requesting a refund due to officially dropped or having excess payment
- Handles monitor and manage Iacademy College finance email address
- Prepares required audit schedules related to College Receivables
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
- Prepares, monitors, and maintains receivable balances of college students per term/school year that are deemed necessary in the preparation of annual audit schedules
