About the role
As a Cashier at KAYA Korean Restaurant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality customer service in a fast-paced, full-time retail environment. Based in Mandaue City, Cebu, you will be responsible for processing transactions, handling cash, and ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
What you'll be doing- Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately processing customer transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments
- Handling cash, balancing tills, and ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to support efficient operations
- Collaborating with the team to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer-facing role in the retail industry
- Minimum of 1 year's previous experience as a cashier or in a customer-facing role, with restaurant experience preferred
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide a high level of customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
- A positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
- College level educational qualification required
