Job Summary:

The Accounting Assistant supports the Accounting Department by handling clerical and administrative tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in reporting. Each Accounting Assistant is assigned to one functional team only—whether treasury, reporting, planning and analysis, receivables, or payables—depending on specialization.

Guided by the Alagang Mahalaga way of life, the Accounting Assistant ensures efficient processes and provides professional service to both internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process, record, and verify financial transactions (e.g., collections, disbursements, invoices, billings, reconciliations) in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain and organize accounting records, files, and supporting documents—both physical and digital—for easy reference and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, reconciliations, and other financial documents to support internal management and statutory reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and promptly resolve payment, billing, or collection concerns.
  • Ensure proper use and updating of accounting tools/ERP systems and monitoring sheets to maintain data accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Department, including updating logs, filing, and monitoring supplies/documents.
  • Observe internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., BIR requirements) in the performance of daily tasks.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, Finance or any business-related course.
  2. Preferably with one-year related work experience. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply!
  3. Keen to details and with good analytical thinking skills
  4. With basic knowledge using ERP systems and MS Office.
