BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - TANK TERMINAL LEASING
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic marketing and leasing plan for tank terminal facilities
- Identify, target, and engage petroleum importers, traders, oil companies, and logistics firms
- Negotiate lease agreements and commercial terms with clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders
- Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, pricing, and competitor activities
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to align customer requirements with terminal capabilities
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, presentations, and contract documentation
- Represent the company in industry events, trade meetings, and networking activities
- Achieve leasing targets and ensure high occupancy/utilization rates of the terminal
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accountancy, Real Estate Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in commercial, marketing, or business development roles
- Strong background in oil & gas, petroleum trading, logistics, or tank terminal operations preferred
- Proven track record in B2B sales, leasing, or contract negotiations
- Strong network within petroleum importers, traders, or energy sector is an advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly driven, strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
