Responsibilities:
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols in coordination with the Site Supervisor and Health & Safety Coordinator.
- Assist the Site Supervisor in maintaining accurate records of site activities, manpower, equipment usage and material consumption.
- Assist the Site Supervisor in the preparation and submission of required reports to external agencies, including regulatory bodies and local government units.
- Reviews the submitted data collected and daily nomination by the Operations & Maintenance (“O&M”) Contractor ensuring accurate data submitted to market operator and management.
- Monitors the operations of Solar Power Generators and report any unusual operating conditions to the Site Supervisor and Plant Manager.
- Ensures substation, transmission, distribution and generation apparatus are inspected and maintained consistently to company policy and safety regulations.
- Supervise control operations made by the Company’s O&M Contractor.
- Manage execution and operating orders and switching procedures during outages and normalization of substation equipment and transmission lines consistent with our standard safety processes.
- Reviews, receives, prepares, transmits, and file operational reports, correspondence and other related documents (i.e. Incident report, Outage Report etc.).
- Ensures safekeeping of substation tools, testing instruments, and parts and ensures that they are always in good working condition.
- Supervise installation, upgrading, and commissioning of substation equipment, LV, MV and HV equipment.
- Adheres to the company’s established workplace safety protocols.
- Approves requisition of materials needed and works closely with inventory and materials management units.
- Ensures yearly maintenance plans and programs are implemented within its corresponding budget, target schedules, and reliability goals.
- Prepares and reviews reports such as KRA monitoring, incident reports and schedule progress reports.
- Ensures identified first responders address emergencies such as machine/equipment breakdown or failures, natural calamities and civil unrest; communicate timely updates to the head office.
- Ensures timely submission of Operations and Compliance Report to stakeholders and regulatory bodies; and
- Perform such other services as necessary and incidental to the foregoing.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Licensed Electrical Engineer.
- With at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience in power plant and electrical system operations and maintenance.
