SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (1)

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering or Information Technology).
  • Must have at least 2 – 3 years working experience in Systems
  • Administration.
  • Experience in PowerShell, MS Active Directory, TeamViewer, VNC as well as managing and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server Environment.
  • Advanced knowledge in installations, upgrades and troubleshooting of Windows Server.
  • Knowledge in all version of MS Windows, MAC OS, Linux, MS Office, Open Office, Internet Browsers, Antivirus and Diagnostic Tools.
  • Firm time management skills in prioritizing and meeting deadlines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and updating of the company's software such as IT assets and Management Systems.
  • Ensures reliable Internet connectivity in the office to avoid work disruptions due to lost Internet connection and troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Performs daily backup operations (ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off-site as necessary).
  • Manages user accounts using Active Directory.
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
  • Provides other support services per request from various parties and investigates and troubleshoots issues.
  • Repairs and recovers data from hardware or software failures.
  • Upgrades systems with new releases and models.
  • Recommends innovative and possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
  • Provides basic PC troubleshooting, maintenance and software installation to end-users.
  • Notifies end users of outage and/or maintenance schedule.
  • Manages, fulfills, and/or escalates IT Helpdesk tickets.
  • Conducts orientation and training for onboarding employees on computer DO'S AND DON'TS.
