HR Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for all employees (monthly/bi-weekly), including validation of timesheets, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy in HR and payroll systems.
  • Coordinate with Finance and HR teams to ensure payroll inputs are accurate and up to date.
  • Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit relevant payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage statutory deductions and filings (e.g., PF, ESI, TDS, etc. as per regional requirements).
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll software and processes.
  • Keep up to date with changes in payroll regulations and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in payroll processing or HR operations.
  • Proficient with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, ADP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax codes, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
