The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating solar panel installation projects on-site. The role ensures that installation activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
The Field Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact between the installation team, clients, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily solar panel installation activities at assigned project sites.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Coordinate and monitor the work of installers, electricians, and other field personnel.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project plans.
Monitor project progress and ensure completion within the approved schedule.
Verify proper installation of solar panels, mounting systems, wiring, and related equipment.
Identify and resolve on-site operational and technical issues.
Maintain accurate records of manpower, materials, equipment, and project accomplishments.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and project completion reports.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project managers regarding site activities.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for field personnel.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications: Electrical Engineer
Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related course is an advantage.With experience in construction, electrical works, renewable energy, or solar panel installation projects.
Knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, electrical wiring, and installation procedures is preferred.
Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with occupational safety and health standards.
Proficient in preparing reports and project documentation.
Willing to travel and work at various project locations.
Can work under pressure and manage multiple installation teams.
Possession of a valid driver's license is an advantage.
