HR Generalist

PLAS Enterprises and Engineering Services is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to manage end-to-end human resource functions across the employee lifecycle. This role plays a key part in talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll coordination, and HR operations.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with labor laws, promote a positive workplace culture, and contribute to organizational effectiveness and growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Drive full-cycle recruitment, collaborating with hiring managers to define needs, implement effective sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Manage candidate screening, interview coordination, and final selection processes, maintaining accurate records and providing regular status reports.
- Facilitate comprehensive pre-employment and onboarding activities, including orientation and integration, to ensure new hires are set up for success.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, policy interpretation, and professional resolution of issues.
- Lead the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Oversee disciplinary cases and separation processes, ensuring due process, accurate documentation, and full compliance with company standards.
- Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives designed to strengthen organizational culture, boost morale, and improve retention.
- Payroll & Timekeeping Management
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of daily time records (DTR), attendance, and leave administration.
- Validate, consolidate, and submit all timekeeping and attendance data as complete payroll inputs to the Compensation and Benefits team within established deadlines.
- Resolve attendance and timekeeping discrepancies in coordination with supervisors, ensuring strict compliance with company policies on overtime and working hours.
- Generate detailed attendance summaries and workforce reports for critical payroll validation and management review.
- HR Operations & Compliance Excellence
- Maintain complete, confidential, and highly organized employee records (digital and physical) compliant with data privacy regulations.
- Ensure precise and thorough documentation for all employment lifecycle transactions, including hiring, movements, and promotions.
- Guarantee adherence to all applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements, preparing and issuing official HR communications and advisories as needed.
- Support the continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and service delivery by coordinating with cross-functional teams to align HR strategy with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of progressive experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role covering the full employee lifecycle.
Key Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven experience handling full-cycle recruitment and successful onboarding.
- Strong practical knowledge of timekeeping, attendance management, and preparing accurate payroll inputs.
- Solid understanding and demonstrated compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills for effective employee relations and policy interpretation.
- Proficiency in maintaining confidential employee records and familiarity with HRIS and MS Office applications.
