NEW ACCOUNTS CLERK
About the role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused New Accounts Clerk to join the team at LIFEBANK-A RURAL BANK. In this full-time role, you will be based in our Santa Barbara Iloilo branch, responsible for providing excellent customer service and efficiently processing new account openings.
What you'll be doing- Assist customers with opening a variety of new accounts, including savings, checking, and time deposit accounts
- Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate for new account openings
- Perform thorough verification of customer information and identification
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain detailed records and update customer account information in the banking system
- Support the broader branch team as needed with other administrative tasks
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or banking role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Proficient in using banking software and computer systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and record-keeping
- Friendly, professional demeanour and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations preferred
