SENIOR MINING ENGINEER

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day mining operations to meet production goals
• Plan, design, and implement mining strategies and schedules
• Supervise and coordinate with operations, geology, and maintenance teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and government regulations
• Prepare, review, and submit reportorial requirements to agencies such as the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB)
• Monitor site performance and recommend operational improvements
• Oversee proper utilization of equipment, manpower, and resources
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety standards on site
• Prepare technical reports, production reports, and documentation
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and workers

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering
• Licensed Mining Engineer (PRC) is preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in mining operations
• Strong background in mine planning, operations, and site management
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage and lead a team
• Knowledgeable in DENR, MGB, and other regulatory reportorial requirements
• Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Willing to be assigned in a remote site in DRT, Bulacan
• Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding site environment
