What you'll be doing- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex avionics issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and software
- Repair and replace faulty avionics components, ensuring aircraft are airworthy and compliant with safety regulations
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the engineering team
- Collaborate with the engineering and flight operations teams to optimize aircraft performance and reliability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in avionics technology and maintain a high level of technical expertise
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Avionics Technician, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Thorough understanding of aircraft avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve avionics issues
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to read and interpret complex schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex avionics problems
- Commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail to ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and collaboration skills
