The Human Resource Manager plans, develops, and implements long-term HR strategies aligned with the company’s business direction, goals, objectives, and culture. This role focuses on attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining talent; ensuring compliance with standards and labor laws; and fostering a positive work environment.
It oversees Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Talent Development, and Timekeeping, supervises Housekeeping Aides, Safety Officer II, and provides dotted line supervision for the Company Nurse, while ensuring operational excellence through optimized processes and resource management.
II. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Conduct workforce planning to anticipate and fulfill talent needs, including tail-end and critical vacancies.
- Leads the periodic review, update, approval, and control of all Job Descriptions across the organization to ensure role clarity and alignment with operational and strategic requirements.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, ensuring pool establishment, sourcing, endorsement, and onboarding.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration for competitiveness and internal equity.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Manage performance management processes including target setting and alignment of KRAs/KPIs.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning through employee development programs.
- Develops, reviews, and updates company policies, including the Code of Conduct, ensuring alignment with legal standards, company culture, and operational requirements.
- Oversees the communication and implementation of updated policies to all employees to ensure compliance and understanding.
- Plan and implement employee engagement and ER programs.
- Ensure compliance of HR processes and third-party providers with DOLE and labor laws.
- Supervise housekeeping aides and Safety Officer II to maintain workplace safety and cleanliness.
- Coordinate with the company nurse (dotted line) for health programs and medicine inventory management.
- Implement cost controls and manage HR FOE effectively.
- Resolve administrative cases within standard timelines.
- Optimize recording and accuracy of medicine inventory and issuance data.
- Encourage employee engagement within the HR department and CSR programs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s Degree or units in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or Organizational Development is an advantage.
- At least 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in managerial or strategic HR roles.
- Experience in multi-industry or group of companies setup preferred.
- Certified in any HR discipline (e.g., CPHR, CHRP) is an advantage.
