## Architect Job Description
**Job Title:** Architect
**Department:** Design and Construction
**Reports To:** Project Manager / Senior Architect
**Employment Type:** Full-Time
### Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to design functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing structures and spaces. The Architect will develop architectural plans, coordinate with clients and engineering teams, and ensure projects comply with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.

### Key Responsibilities

Develop architectural concepts, plans, drawings, and specifications
Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, budgets, and timelines
Prepare detailed designs using architectural software and drafting tools
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout project development
Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality
Review project proposals, contracts, and construction documents
Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
Resolve design and construction issues as they arise
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices

### Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
Licensed Architect preferred or eligible for licensure
Proven experience in architectural design and project management
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other architectural design software
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and regulations
Excellent creativity, technical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

### Preferred Skills

Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects
Knowledge of sustainable and green building practices
Strong attention to detail and project coordination skills
Familiarity with 3D rendering and visualization tools is an advantage

### Working Conditions

Office-based work with regular site visits
May require extended hours to meet project deadlines
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications for an Architect
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
Licensed Architect or eligible for professional licensure preferred
Proven experience in architectural design, planning, and project management
Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar programs
Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, construction methods, and safety regulations
Excellent design, creativity, and technical drawing skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, engineers, contractors, and project teams

Knowledge of sustainable and environmentally friendly design practices is an advantage
