Investor Relations & Business Development Manager

Role Summary

The Investor Relations & Business Development Manager plays a dual strategic role—leading the company’s investor relations function while actively supporting business growth initiatives, capital structuring, and financial strategy.

The role serves as a key interface between the company, capital markets, and potential partners, ensuring a strong investment narrative while identifying and executing opportunities that enhance enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Investor Relations & Market Communications
  • Manage relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and shareholders
  • Lead earnings communications, investor presentations, and disclosures
  • Develop and articulate a compelling and consistent equity story
  • Ensure alignment of messaging across all public disclosures
  1. Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
  • Identify, evaluate, and support new business opportunities (JV projects, partnerships, market expansion)
  • Conduct financial feasibility studies and investment analysis for new initiatives
  • Support deal structuring, negotiations, and execution of strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate with Business Units and Strategy teams on growth initiatives
  1. Corporate Finance & Capital Strategy
  • Support capital raising activities (debt and equity), including investor targeting and engagement
  • Assist in financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
  • Provide recommendations on capital structure and funding strategies
  • Work closely with Treasury and Finance on funding plans and liquidity management
  1. Market Intelligence & Insights
  • Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment
  • Provide actionable insights on valuation drivers and market expectations
  • Benchmark against peers to strengthen market positioning
  1. Executive Advisory & Stakeholder Support
  • Advise CFO, CEO, and Execom on investor perception and strategic opportunities
  • Prepare leadership for investor meetings, roadshows, and key negotiations
  • Act as a strategic partner in aligning financial, operational, and market messaging
  1. Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with PSE, SEC, and other regulatory disclosure requirements
  • Uphold accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all investor communications
  • Support governance standards related to financial disclosures and transactions

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus
Experience
  • 5–10 years in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Business Development
  • Strong experience in financial modeling, deal evaluation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Exposure to listed companies and capital markets is highly preferred
