Logistics & Warehouse Assistant

Job Summary

As a Logistics and Warehouse Assistant, you will support the daily operations of both logistics and warehouse functions. You will help ensure timely delivery, proper inventory handling, and organized warehouse processes. You will report directly to the Department Head regarding delivery status, inventory movements, and operational concerns, while assisting in improving systems and procedures for more efficient service fulfillment.

1. Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and order processing
• Prepare and process documents such as purchase orders, delivery receipts, invoices, and bills of lading

1. Shipment & Delivery Coordination

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries
• Assist in order preparation, packing, and loading of goods
• Ensure timely dispatch and receipt of shipments

1. Warehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect, store, and organize products properly
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse
• Assist in picking, packing, and issuance of items

1. Inventory Management

• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Update inventory systems to ensure accurate stock levels
• Monitor stock movement and report low or excess inventory

1. Dispatch & Routing

• Assist in scheduling and dispatching of delivery vehicles and drivers
• Monitor delivery progress and address delays or issues

1. Vehicle & Fleet Coordination

• Track maintenance, repairs, and servicing of company vehicles
• Ensure all vehicle documents (registration, insurance, etc.) are updated

1. Communication & Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, warehouse staff, and internal teams
• Provide updates and resolve logistics and warehouse-related concerns

1. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare reports on delivery status, inventory, and operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulations
• Report damages, discrepancies, or operational issues

1. Other Duties

• Assist in improving logistics and warehouse processes
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Immediate Superior or Department Head

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Accountancy, or any related field
• Preferable with 2-3 years relevant experience
• With experience in logistics, warehouse, or similar role is an advantage
• Knowledge in logistics, warehousing, inventory systems, and distribution processes
