Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the computer network system of the hospital.
• Track server activity, monitor performance and perform upgrades of operating systems.
• Maintain computer hardware in coordination with hardware / IT services vendors.
• Address promptly all technical incidents and problems.
• Manage the datacenter budgets.
• Ensure that datacenter routine checks are done properly by local team members.
• Consolidate and simplify the server and network infrastructure to ensure maximum availability and resiliency.
• Coordinate installation and deployment of new systems, new network devices.
• Ensure that all business critical data, all systems configurations, in the hospital are properly backed-up and that regular restore tests are performed.
• Ensure that server and network infrastructure comply with the applicable data privacy laws.

• Organize the team members to spread work load between the IT Office and data center routines.
• Motivate team members to keep on learning, to deliver KPIs on-time and on schedule and ensure that each one is interchangeable by applying rotation assignments.
• Track individual performance and coordinate day-to-day operations
• Establish IT policies, SOPs, and service-level agreements.
• Manage Incident, Problems and Change tickets.
• Participate actively in planning sessions and to develop and implement the hospital’s IT strategy aligned with clinical, operational, and organizational goals.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years’ experience in managing network and server infrastructures or projects.
• Extensive experience with installation and configuration of network devices preferably with switches and routers from HP and CISCO
• Some experience with IT server technologies/hardware such as IBM, HP, DELL, NAS, SAN, VMware, Microsoft Server OS, Linux or Unix.
• Experience with Database installation, configuration and management: MS SQL and MySQL.
• Experience of PABX setup, operation and administration would be a plus.
• Experience with popular computer and server OS platforms. (at least expert level in one of these OS: Windows, Linux or VMware)
• Experience working with network monitoring systems or equivalent experience.
• Can lead a team of IT Staff with diverse levels of expertise.
