PURCHASING OFFICER

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly reliable and experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team. This role supports the procurement needs of our real estate operations and occasionally covers purchasing for construction materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Manage purchasing for office needs, project supplies, and construction-related materials.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other departments to meet procurement needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, invoices, and inventory levels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable and consistent supply.
• Ensure timely delivery and availability of materials for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving initiatives and improving purchasing processes.
• Uphold internal controls and compliance with company procurement policies.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
• Familiarity with construction materials and supplier sourcing is highly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven record of honesty, trustworthiness, and responsibility in previous roles.
• Willing to undergo comprehensive background checking as part of the recruitment process.
