The Pastry Chef – Commis II is responsible for assisting in the preparation, production, and presentation of pastries, desserts, baked goods, and other pastry items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. This position supports the Pastry Chef and senior kitchen team in ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency within the pastry section.
Qualifications/Requirements
Graduate of Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field (TESDA NC II in Bread and Pastry Production is an advantage).
At least 1–2 years of experience in pastry/bakery operations (hotel or resort experience preferred).
Knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert presentation.
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
