Finance Associate (Cebu City)

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather financial data and ledgers
• Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Manage periodical reporting
• Oversee external and internal audits
• Analyze finances to determine risks and create forecasts
• Advise management on how to craft effective business plans and resolve cost-related issues
• Ensure that the appropriate internal controls are in place in compliance with the company’s Policies & Procedures and with relevant regulatory authorities
• Other tasks which may be assigned by CEO include projects to improve systems and processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy/Management Accounting or equivalent.
• Certified Public Accountant is preferred but not necessary
• Good Analytical Skills
• Good to Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
• High attention to detail and effective decision-making skills
• A team player
• Amenable to work on-site at CBP, Ayala Cebu City
• Can start ASAP is a plus
