Advice2Talent (A2T) is a Cebu-based virtual staffing company supporting Australian SMEs. We provide offshore professionals while ensuring compliant employment, payroll, and HR support for our Philippine team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & Finance Officer to manage payroll, tax compliance, compensation & benefits, and internal finance operations for our team of fewer than 50 staff members.

Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Ashima and Xero.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Compliance
  • Manage the complete payroll cycle using Ashima
  • Review timesheets, allowances, deductions, and payroll adjustments
  • Prepare and lodge employee Income Tax Returns (ITR)
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and government-mandated contributions
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and reporting
Government Contributions & Benefits
  • Process SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions
  • Ensure timely lodgment and payments
Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Management
  • Enroll employees in company benefits including HMO
  • Maintain and update employee benefits records
  • Manage HMO claims, coordination, and reporting
  • Ensure accurate tracking of staff benefits and contribution reporting
Finance & Accounting
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable using Xero
  • Prepare invoices and monitor collections
  • Perform bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, and expense tracking
  • Assist with financial forecasting and reporting
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain payroll, finance, and benefits SOPs and documentation
  • Monitor internal staff cost allocation
  • Support audit preparation and internal financial reporting
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial, payroll, and benefits data
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in payroll, accounting, or finance
  • Mandatory experience with Ashima and Xero
  • Knowledge of Philippine payroll, government contributions, tax filing, and employee benefits
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication
Work Schedule
