Meadow Manufacturing Corporation, an affiliate company of Marigold Manufacturing Corporation is in search of Instrumentation and Controls Technician.

Make corrective and preventive maintenance to electro-mechanical control circuits.

1. Using technical knowledge in trouble shooting skills to maintain the manufacturing equipment systems.
2. Field fault analysis -determines if instrument has failed or if it is a process problem.
3. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
4. Field calibration of instrumentation utilizing proper test equipment.
5. Complete overhaul in shop environment to include component replacements, alignments and calibration to specifications of record.
6. Repair of signal transmission facility such as tubing, wiring, instrumentation to include pneumatic, electronic and digital equipment etc.
7. Fault analysis of hardwire relay logic, motor control circuits, motor power circuits and common utility/ lighting circuits.
8. Installation of new control circuits, modification of existing instrument/electrical systems as requested, to include design load and implementation of new control logic.
9. Fault analysis and programming of PLC based systems with control logic modification if required.
10. Modify PM’s to equipment based on findings during repair or preventive tasks when appropriate
11. Perform detailed analysis and recommend repair solutions when equipment is not performing up to expectations.
12. Observe appropriate safety measure to maintain and promote a safe work environment.
13. Suggest improvements based on know experienced component failure or reliability.

Training/Seminar Required: Short courses on Electrical Wiring Installation and Troubleshooting, Pneumatics and Electro-mechanical

1. Must be a graduate of Instrumentation and Control Engineering Tech or with Associate degree equivalent to Technical/Vocational
2. Preferably with related experience in maintenance or other related technical training preferably in a food manufacturing environment
3. Must have the ability to interpret schematic drawings (to component level) of pneumatic loops, hardware relay logic diagrams, PLC programs (specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens), instrumentation, motor control circuit diagrams etc. Must associate circuit symbol with actual components to include solid state electronics (transistors, integrated chips, resistors, capacitors, etc.) and common industrial electrical hardware (relays, contractors, starters, etc.)
4. Willing to report to work as required under emergency conditions.
