Structural Steel Detailers/Modelers
About the role
Draftek Technology, subsidiary of Draftek Australia, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking talented Structural Steel Detailers, Modelers, Checkers and Project Managers to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time role in Quezon City, Metro Manila, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of large-scale commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects in Australia.
What we're looking for- A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is the minimum qualification required for this position
- It is essential to have at least 10 years of experience in structural steel detailing and 3D modelling using TEKLA Structures in an Australian environment.
- Strong understanding of structural steel design, fabrication, and construction practices
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong consideration will be given to candidates showing extensive experience and proven track record in structural steel detailing of large scale Australian projects
- Extensive experience and proven track record in structural steel detailing of large scale Australian projects is required
- We are looking for professionals looking to build long term careers in a professional office environment
- Structural steel detailing using TEKLA Structures
- Interpreting architectural and engineering design documentation and translating it into constructible shop drawings
- Collaborating with architects, structural engineers and other consultants to ensure designs are accurately detailed, and the steel shop-drawings are coordinated with all other project stakeholders and fit for purpose.
- Liaising with structural fabricators, general contractors and consultants to address queries and incorporate solutions or revisions into the design
- Maintaining project documentation and records
