Job Summary

This role requires a meticulous, analytical, and proactive professional capable of ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial insights.

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insightful financial reports to management for decision-making.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Taxation: Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation and timely submission of various tax returns (e.g., income tax, VAT, withholding tax).
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee and manage the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts.
• Payroll Management: Manage and process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements. Administer employee benefits and deductions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
• Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting principles, company policies, and legal requirements. Conduct internal audits as needed to identify and address financial discrepancies.

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or a related field.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in all facets of accounting, preferably within a multinational or Australian accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, MYOB) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
