About the role
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Staff to join our team at Olympic Village Enterprises Inc. in Mandaluyong City. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement and inventory processes to support the efficient operations of the company.
What you'll be doing- Collaborate and identify purchasing requirements and source appropriate suppliers
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, delivery terms and quality for purchased goods and services
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including purchase orders, invoices and inventory levels
- Oversee the receipt, inspection and storage of incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and implement cost-saving measures
- Assist in the preparation of periodic procurement reports for management review
- Bachelor or College degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent
- Relevant purchasing or procurement experience, at least 1-2 years
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills to secure favorable terms
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities to maintain accurate purchasing documentation
- Good problem-solving skills to identify and resolve supply chain issues
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across the business
- Fast learner, analytical, meticulous in work/report and pro active individual.
- Respectful and capable of delivering fast-paced procurement/report requirements within the deadline
