Solutions Design Manager (Transport)

Role Overview
The Solutions Design Manager is responsible for creating and developing transport solution designs across:
- Opportunity stage
- Implementation phase
- Existing operations requiring optimization
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, cost-efficient, and sustainable transport solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Optimization- Collect, analyze, and interpret transport operations data to support solution design
- Develop transport cost models, gross profit (GP) analysis, and other analytical tools
- Reengineer and optimize underperforming or unprofitable operations
- Transfer and apply best practices across the region
- Integrate GoGreen solutions to reduce carbon footprint
- Identify and apply innovations in fleet, technology, and logistics processes
- Provide analytical support for contract implementation and development
- Support vendor procurement, RFQs, and performance improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Business Development and Procurement to drive cost efficiencies and innovation
- Prepare and present solution proposals to internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in customer presentations when required
- Ensure compliance with DHL corporate, regional, and country standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in transport solution design
- Strong knowledge of transportation, logistics, and supply chain management
- Experience modeling complex domestic transport networks
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other modeling tools is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commercial acumen and business mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
