Job Summary
Leads planning and design, directs projects end-to-end, manages teams and consultants, ensures goals, compliance and delivery success.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses to determine project viability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish project goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Review design documents for accuracy, quality, and adherence to project requirements.
- Supervise and manage construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Implement effective project management techniques to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Review construction contracts, change orders, and payment applications to ensure contractual compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of planning, design, and construction professionals.
- Monitor project costs, analyze cost variances, and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed standards.
- Collaborate with safety officers to establish and maintain a safe work environment for all project participants.
- Oversee design management, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants on project plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Urban Planning
- Licensed Architect
- Strong spatial and aesthetic judgment; adept in negotiation and stakeholder management.
- In-depth knowledge of planning permissions, building regulations, and compliance standards.
- Expertise in construction methodologies, design principles, building codes, life safety guidelines, and building technologies, trends and materials.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
