Responsible for performing various physical tasks on construction sites that include the following key responsibilities:
- Physical labor: Construction laborers must be able to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials, equipment, and tools. This may involve manual labor such as digging trenches, pouring concrete, or operating heavy machinery.
- Site preparation: Laborers are often responsible for preparing construction sites before work can begin. This may include clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, or securing temporary structures.
- Equipment maintenance: Laborers may be required to clean, maintain, and repair construction tools and equipment. This ensures that tools are in good working condition and prevents accidents or delays.
- Material handling: Responsible for loading and unloading construction materials and supplies. This may involve operating equipment for lifting and moving objects around the construction sites.
- Safety compliance: Construction laborers must adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. This may include wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), following safety protocols, and reporting any hazards or incidents to supervisors.
- Construction support, cleaning and maintenance
- Physically and mentally fit to work
- Within the acceptable age to perform construction works and activities
- Willing to work eight (8) hours from Monday to Saturday
- With good moral character; no administrative and/or criminal records
