About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Supervisor to join the team at Select Goods' in Mandaue City, Cebu. As the Assistant Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our retail store and ensuring exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time position that will provide you with the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Store Supervisor in managing the overall operations of the retail store
Overseeing and coordinating the work of store associates, ensuring they provide excellent customer service
Monitoring inventory levels and stock replenishment to maintain optimal product availability
Handling cash management, including reconciling daily sales
Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
Assisting with staff scheduling and performance management
Collaborating with the management team to implement store policies and procedures
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the overall growth of the business

What we're looking for

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service supervisory role
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficient in cash handling and inventory management
Familiarity with retail systems and technology, including point-of-sale and inventory tracking software
Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
