Farm Supervisor

A Farm Supervisor oversees daily farming operations, ensuring that crops and/or livestock are well-managed, workers perform their duties efficiently, and farm productivity is maximized. The role includes supervising farm workers, coordinating schedules, monitoring resources, and implementing best agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate farm workers in planting, cultivating, maintaining, and harvesting.
• Plan work schedules and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of farm activities.
• Monitor farm operations such as irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
• Ensure proper care, maintenance, and use of farm equipment and tools.
• Train and guide workers on safe and effective farming practices.
• Inspect fields, crops, or orchards (e.g., durian trees) for pests, diseases, and soil conditions.
• Maintain records of farm activities, worker performance, and production.
• Report to the Farm Manager or Owner about progress, challenges, and needs.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on the farm.
• Assist in post-harvest processes such as sorting, grading, and packaging.

1. At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related field.
2. With knowledge and experience in crop or fruit farming (durian farming is an advantage).
3. Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
4. Familiar with modern agricultural practices, pest control, and farm management.
5. Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
6. Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in varying conditions.
