Construction QA Engineer (MEPF)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably with at least one (1) year of work experience as Quality Assurance Engineer or has experience with inspection of materials and mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensures that the quality of all works, installation, and testing carried out at the project sites are as per compliance with Project Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plan
2. Assesses method statements for the different activity including risk assessment, job safety, environmental analysis, inspection test plan, and checklist based on specifications of the project
3. Verifies the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, design, and existing local authority standard
4. Proactively identifies potential quality problems and provides recommendation or opportunities for improvement to avoid such
5. Prepares written Quality Assurance (QA) daily and monthly reports, and maintain quality assurances logs detailing processes performed in site
6. Ensures materials received by warehouse have the certification documents required by the purchase order and certification documents meet the specification
7. Regularly conducts inspection and random test for compliance with the standard specifications and plans of the project site
8. Drafts the non-compliance report to project sites to be submitted to the Senior QA Engineer for review
9. Issues the Non-Compliance Report (NCR) to the Project-in-Charge of different project sites
10. Monitors the compliance of the project site related to MEPF process after the issuance of the NCR.

1. Ensures that the facilities in properties are working properly and still in compliance with the property and company quality plan
2. Regularly conducts testing to ensure the 100% functionality of the facilities and equipment of the properties
3. Conducts simulations of electrical load distribution for emergency power and FDAS (Fire Detection and Alarm System) for elevator and fire protection system
4. Drafts the NCR of properties to be submitted to the Senior QA Engineer for review
5. Issues the NCR to the Property Managers
6. Monitors the compliance of the properties after the issuance of the NCR

1. Maintains all Quality Assurance) documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, etc.
2. Assist Office Staff with warranty period i.e.: identify warranty items, sending warranty notification, documenting warranties, etc.
3. Regularly reviews all logs, covering inspection request, material inspection request, methods statement submittal, and monitoring their status
